Question Question about rear spoiler mounting

I'm toying with the idea of making my own rear spoiler out of fiberglass since I can't seem to find exactly what I'm looking for in the aftermarket. What I really want is a spoiler much like the 1981-82 Camaro Z28. For those of you with the low profile spoiler (the one that wraps around the rear windows), my question is, how is your rear spoiler mounted? Is it with bolts through the body, that super-tough double-sided tape, or something else?

mine has three studs screwed into the fiberglass middle section that would need holes drilled into the body, the side pieces screw into the body from the outside so the hardware would be exposed. does not look like there is enough mounting surface flat touching the body to facilitate using double side tape at all. I have yet to install it, needs some glass work to repair some of it and a new paint job. mine is the style Mariah sells (has the hole in the right piece for antenna to come out)

Do you have pics of your spoiler? I bought one and was wondering how to mount it, because it looks like a mold. Its completely hollow

i will get some pics tonight. it only has enough "webbing" to hold the three studs in, it's rather hollow, but not 100%. yours might be designed to be molded into the body.
