question about air pump

question about air pump

hi
i bought a block off plate from mazdatrix ..do i need to put prematex on it before mounting it.

i went and got some corkboard gasket material,
then just cut my own out.
works great.
make sure that you do use something though,
my car was idleing funny before i put on the coark board.

no problem,
just use the old air pump as the template to make sure you dont have corkboard where the intake ports are,
they may suck in some cork board particles,
but if there small im not actually sure if it would do any damage
engine would probably just burn em up and spit em out.
