Question?

I found these nice leather seats at a wrecking crew and salvage, they want $100.00 for the set. Now the car is an 83 gsl and mine is an 85 gs would they fit,

and would you please be so kind and give me some feed back on the seats.
thanks to you all this site is very helpful. I do have someone waiting to do the work on the seats but im still doing my homework.

Those look EXACTLY like what were in my 81 GSL that I just sold. Slightly better in shape. That leather that is cracked is only going to get worse. Are you sure you want them?

Yeah, but no matter how much leather dressing you apply they are still going to come apart at the seams & flake. I’d go for new leather seat covers & pay a good shop to install them. BTW: the foam in those seats is toast & will crumble & litter your floor constantly. Don’t waste your money on those seats.

Just looking at the seatbelts clips by the tranny hump, the car has seen too much sun in it's life. The seats will need recovered in the near future and cloth ones are cheap. Imho leather seats and sport cars is an oxymoron. By the time you get those seats dressed up, you will need a 5-point harness just to keep your *** planted in place while cornering.
