and that killed the motor? or were you lucky (like sun shining out your *** crack lucky) and you blew an apex and thats all it did?

i havnt blown up enough engines to know exactly whats going on here.. nice port tho.

The housing COLLAPSED - it is actually .002-.003" thinner right there. The crack is from the collapsing, and the indentation is another result.

The engine ran fine right up to the point where I took it apart.

Yes, on to Plan C or D or whatever plan I'm up to now.

So to recap: Not only is a weirdo P-port like I did extremely time-consuming, but the housings won't survive it either. The engine still ran and made good compression, mind you, but I dunno the long-term results (would it get worse? would it chunk apart 200 miles from home?).

Plan... whatever is a half bridge. The P-port kicked ***, and I do not regret one bit doing it. It proved everything I wanted it to prove. But, I think a half-bridge would better serve my wide-varied purposes, and besides, I just want to do one, just like I wanted to do a P-port.
