The racing beat street port exhaust system is dual until it collects at the muffler. You could just get a different muffler and make custom from before the axle and back.

For the metal you will have to find a car you can cut the parts you want from or get someone to cut them from a parts car, The good part is You should be able to use the parts from any 79 - 85 car. For the floor pan I would just cut out the cancer and then use regular sheet steel to fill the hole unless you just want the bumps and stuff.

I have some parts cars and could cut what you need, The floor pan should not be to hard and shipping would not be bad, depending on how much quarter you need shipping could be hard.

Show us some pics of your damage.

sheet metal

There used to be several companies that made replacement sheet metal panels and floor pans. I don't know if they are still making them or if there is any old stock available, but it is quite possible. Check with auto body suppliers.

to fix the rust in my project car I just used regular sheet metal and made patch panels myself. That was for the non visual stuff, like the floor pan. The quarters were still good on my car. The quarters shouldn't be *that* hard to get, I've seen plenty of people with parts cars that still have good body parts left. good luck

I'm pretty sure Victoria British sells quarter panels, but they'll cost quite a bit more than those from a parts car. For some reason I am thinking that the quarter panels are different for 79-80 and 81-85 though, but i could be wrong.

Do you mean the Rear 1/4 panels or the Front Fenders? The Fenders are different on a 79 and 80. But you can put the later ones on and use the later Bumper.

The rear 1/4 would not be hard to cut off, the hard part is shipping, they get into the "to big to ship" catagory.

If you were to cut it yourself, you could get it for 25 - 50 most likely.

I would sell you a chunck that size for say $50.

If it's immediately in front of or immediately behind the rear wheel opening, you can use a front fender from the opposite side and weld it in place. I'm almost finished doing this on my racecar where the P.O. and somebody got together. He beat the living **** out of it, but it hasn't been too tricky so far. I'll probably be posting a little thread about it for those that are broke like me but like to weld **** up.
