You're gonna have to do a little bit of fabrication and be resourceful in making those electric locks work.

I've heard good things about the products they sell at AutoLoc... But I've never personally used their products.

As far as alarm, DEI has several sub brands (Viper, Clifford, Sidewinder, etc.) that are VERY reputable. Additionally, they are all compatible, so you can find a Clifford motion sensor connected to a Viper brain and so forth...

Expect to pay a premium for both...

If you wanna slide down a bit on the budget, you can scavange lock actuators from another car at the scrap yard. A basic alarm with lock outputs will cost you less, but you may lose features such as scrambled code remotes or motion sensors...

Remember. An alarm is just as good as it's installer. You can have a top of the line $1000 Alpine UberDefender 9000 and if you leave wires hanging under the dash or put it in a conspicuous spot, it's as good as gone.

don't let pele scare ya with the electric door locks, they aren't too bad at all, there is so much room in the doors of the fb, and the locks are so simple its a pretty painless install,

also i don't think its gonna be a problem finding aftermarket actuators, they aren't very expensive...and are made to be mounted in many different ways to suit the custom installer.

There are tons of different brands for security, as pele said, do some research, crimestopper, viper...well the list goes on. Find the one that best suits your needs and price range. And pele makes a very very good point on that last remark, if you aren't a knowledgable installer, get some help or hire a pro
