Why does'nt everyone just friggin relax, O.K.?
What is this, ****** high school? Give the kid a break, and explain why the thing is bogus. Let's not chastize and alienate a new member because he was'nt born with all of the rotary-know-it-all-ness that all YOU good folks seemed to have been born with.
...********. ******* ZERO compassion. Real nice.

OK, here's my attempt to be nice. (I though somebody had a supercharged 12a.)
Badassrx7, a supercharger or turbocharger requires an external form of energy (superchargers are belt driven, and turbochargers are gas driven) to spin a turbine, that compresses the intake charge. Since an engine is essentially a large, complicated air pump, more air equals more power. The thing you got doesn't compress the air- it can't, because it moves WITH the air flowing past it instead of actively impacting the speed/pressure of the air. If the spinny-thing (that I imagine fits in the intake plenum somewhere) were attached to a belt or an exhaust gas turbine, it might actually do something. As it is, though, it will probably just break one day and send pieces of sharp aluminum into your rotor housing. And that's bad. So take it off? Your seven will thank you, and probaly make more power due to there being no restriction in the intake. And that's good.
(This is an amalgamation of about a thousand other posts I've seen on the subject. So if it sounds like I'm talking down, I'm not. I'm just passing along some information.)
Peace, heads.

Instead of strutting our cherished beliefs, we oughtta put this one to rest. Let's all chip in, so he can get a dyno run with the "SC" removed, get numbers and then put it on and get numbers. All in a half hour. Then we'll know the truth as opposed to our ***umptions, even though they're based on sound physics...
