New Decals :)

okay, hopefully no controversy this time.

I'm having some decals made tomorrow. They go on your rear view mirror at the bottom. They're small, silver/grey (for that etched glass look) and... well, I think what they say speaks for itself:

those that want 'em, just pop over to http://www.wigglepup.com/RX-7/feature_decals.php

Manntis...All I can say is I love them . I want some...Now I just need money AGAIN!! I assume that they are die cut vinyl again? And will all you people stop showing me things that I want!?!?!? Have you no decency!?!?!? j/k Ayway, I like em...Im gonna post a proposition for a windshield banner that I was gonna have made cause I havent found one yet...I want it to read "Rotary Powered" or something like that. Maybe some one out there (coughcoughmanntiscough) could get them into production if enough people like them?

~T.J.

PS - Maybe you could work on some "Rotary Inside" stickers as well...

Thanks 82mazdaRX7

Ok, this is just an example I threw together with some various fonts I have...But what do you think about something like this? Would anyone want something like this for their windshield? Die cut, preferably in white so it can be seen better maybe? Just looking for some input ... If no one here wants them, Ill just have one made for myself .

~T.J.

PS - I really like the font the second one is in...Too bad its so damn "ricey"...I think it would look good the way it is, but have it in white, so its just a white outline of the letters...But I like the first one too, and the third, and the...

Nice, Manntis!

As long as we're all throwing our ideas out there...

Instead of the typical Calvin pissing on stuff, I'd like to see a giant rotor (kinda like REVHEDS avitar) pissing on Calvin!
(I'm really sick of Calvin!)

yes, Bad, they're meant to go on the side mirrors where most cars have the "objects in mirror are closer than they appear" bit

What about a bumper or rear window sticker that would read, "I lost the pistons. You lost the race."

Not to slight your idea Manntis. I do love it. Unfortunately I can't afford it. I can't even afford to get my own made up.

they're $3 per set - is that too pricey for 'em?

as to all this race-related rear window stuff... what I like about this design for the mirrors is it's subtle, not "hey cops, I think I'm in TF&TF so keep an eye on me!" but omre of an in-joke with the ReX crowd.

I agree with the subtlety point. And as for the price, I was not trying to say that they were too expensive, merely that I am too broke. Sorry if I stepped on your toes M.

I'm new to the first gen forum, as I just bought me a first gen... I used to hang on the 2nd gen forum... when I had my second gen.. go fig. I've seen a lot of your posts, manntis, and I assume you work for a vinly shop, or have your own plotter?

I work at a sign place myself.. AUTOGRAPHICSCO.com. SIGNHEADS.. woo... or something O_o

Anyway... If anyone wants decals made of 2mil high-performance vinly in just about any color your heart desires, just email me a b/w proof of what it is, the size you want, quanity, and I will give you a price. If you're still intrested, I'll make and send over.

I like your side mirror decals. Think I'll get some as sone as my VISA atm card gets here. I bought a vinyl hood decal, let me know what you think. I haven't put it on yet. I would have prefered one with a rotor, maybe you cuould do something with that.
