I did this on my crx. Just run a line that goes from the starter to the battery with a switch inbetween. Will turn the starter on when the switch is activated.

You want to hook it up to the small push on wire on the starter.

I believe the starter wire is black and with a yellow stripe. What year is your Rx7 (79') ? I had a push button starter for my 83' Rx7. It was wired so I could either start the car by key or the push button. I'll try and get you some pictures of a starter wire and post them later.

Its easier to just run new wires from the battery to a fog lights relay, then to the starter. Now, for the relay's contactor, use a test light and find any ignition wire (for you smart asses, this is any wire that has power when the key is "ON"). THis wire has to go to a push button switch, then to the relay.

You can do the other post also but..
