Anybody have a picture of a purple first gen? or anyone good with a photo program that could make a purple one? I'm thinking about plum crazy metallic like they used on the old chargers and cudas.

If anyone posts a pic of THE purple Rx-7, I'm going to kill them.

Dude, do a search. Type in "purple Rx-7" you'll find plenty.

NO NO NO

not "the purple rx7" I'm not trying to get that started up again. I'm looking for a "plum crazy purple" or similar shade stock FB or with fender flares, nothing crazy

I wish I had the skill to make the back end look like the back of Jon's. That is beautiful

Ah that's more of a "grape" kind of colour, or "plum" (hence the name I guess!)

Not bad at all. It's all in the application though, if you can get the panels straight enough (and the darker the colour, the straighter the panels need to be) then I reckon you'll be set mate.

There's a few in the photo gallery. You'll find that by clicking the sticky-ed thread called "first generation specific photo gallery". It's the forth one down from the top of the 1st generation forum.
