Pulling Axles

Anyone have any short cuts for pulling axles with drum brakes or other tricks to help ?

I have rear discs, but mine were quite easy to pull. Once everything is disconnected (ie brake lines), just take a dead blow hammer and tap the inside of the disc (or drum for you). Both my axles came out quick and easy and went back in smooth and simple. I'd recommend replacing all the seals and bearings while they're out, it's a good this to do. Good luck.

I tried that once, Beat the **** out of it, and still didnt come out, went and paid $25 for a slide hammer, and BAM to good hits and she came out no problem.. Autzone has 'em
