PS on an 83 12a?? Beginning tearing down and extra engine I have

Picked this motor up for the 5 speed transmission only. I was told it was an 83 GSL. BUT my old memory is vague. Forgive me. But it's got tell tale signs of being an 84-85 12a. Has the extra wire solenoid (green plug) in the middle of the rats nest and the carb also has the extra stuff on the right side. Anyway this mitir came out of a car with about 70,000 miles. Rear bad o cooler leak (LOL) was pulled cause they thought it was bad. They dropped a 302 in. I'd never seen a 12a with PS. ANYWAY, thoughts? Anyone need this stuff?

PS was 84-85, on the GSL and GSL-SE models only. you should either keep it or put it in the FS section, it used to be kind of sought after.

Looks like this motor is going to be a tear down. 45 -55 psi in front rotor and way into the 100's for the rear. Rotor housings look pretty good from inside the exhaust holes. No idea why compression is so low.

What's 12a rotors and rotor housings go for? Side housings worth anything? What PS and AC compressors typically bring?

PS = $0
AC = $0
12A rotors = $0
12A rotor housing = Priceless

Ray this one had 2 really really nice rotor housings... Very good looking motor inside. Extremely carbon locked... Apex seals even about mazda specs. 2.916 and 7.4mm . Definitely usable parts...A few flattened apex springs. Good deal for $75 with the transmission, carb and all accessories
