Problems that happens about twice a week.

Well, i just got to work, and my car died as soon as i pulled into my parking spot. It does this about 2-3 times a week, and i have no idea why. Nothing is stuck on the carb, i have no vacuum leaks. All of the filters have been changed, its getting gas. And it dosen't happen dailey, or in any special kind of weather/time of day. I will just feel my car shaking, look up, and watch the idle go down slowly from 900 to 0. Today i caught it and gave it a little gas, and it sounded rough all the way up to about 2k. Any ideas\comments would be appreciated.

The pump is a holley blue, filter is fine, as the screen in the pump, haven't checked the carb screen. The carb was rebuilt less than 10k ago, ac was ripped out (DAMN ITS HOT). The ignition is MSD, and about as good as it gets, (just replaced plugs/wires). And unfortunately i have to go to work. I need money to rebuild my SE... so then i can drive that one and rebuild this poor old thing.

Sounds like it could be flooding. What's your fuel pressure regulator set to? Next time it does it check float levels or remove the air cleaner lid and see if there's fuel dripping into the carb. If it's flooding it could also be a worn needle and seat or you might have debris in the fuel system.
