Question Pro7 or Spec7 SCCA Class

Hi all,

Just signed up for this list as I have started getting involved with Pro7 racing. In the market to buy a car, but haven't bought one yet. I am a moderator for the Internet Z club, but have never ever ventured into rotor-world. Is there a Pro7 or Spec7 forum or place on the web to exchange tips and tricks, parts etc?

This is only for the first gen cars.

Thanks,

JD

Hey, thanks for the info. I will explore both sites. I take it that there has been no interest in having these subjects on this forum?

There aren't many of us on these forums. the best place is the improved touring forums that 787josh recomended.

We should get the mods to start a forum for race cars. Thats a great Idea!

Welcome to the forum.

Not many 1st gen racers at rx7club.com Mainly street stuff with some turbo and rice thrown in for variety.

Discuss Pro7 here:
http://calclub.com/discus/index.html
SoCal has about 25 Pro7s per race and it's quite competitive. There are many fast and reputable people on that forum.

I race in the ITR class (ITA rules with only rotary cars in it). I haven't really come across many racing sites, I just come back here all the time, and they answer most (if not all) of my questions.

If you want your engine built though, www.SDJmotorsports.com They take the 12A (100hp stock) and within ITA rules modify it to a dynoed 172hp (or something around there)
