price check

my aunt has a mint 85 GSL-SE, its white with burgandy interior, original 53k miles, its bone stock and garaged and extremely well taken care of. the paint is great, no rust or anything. its an awesome car. shes looking to sell it and i told her id try and help her get rid of it, i was wondering what the asking price would be for this car? its loaded, power steering and everything.

$4500-$5000 Depending on how good the condition is. Why are people in the first gen section trying to drive the values down and those in the third gen section trying to drive them up? Very strange.

Maybe we're a little less cocky over here . Why don't you buy it off of her? Sounds like a good find, these get more rare by the day. Put it in the for sale section here, I'm sure you'll get plenty of replies. If you take your time you may get up to $5000 for it (also with a little luck, but it's possible).

Can you get some pics of it? Then maybe post it in the forsale section.(id like to see pics anyway )

Dont sell it for real cheap, its a good car worth good money.

Don't ATF it.... most people here swear by Amsoil Power Foam. Do a search and you'll find out why.

i saw that, i guess ill pick amsoil power foam, its probably the same thing as sea foam and sea foam is way easier to get and probably cheaper so ill hti up napa and grab it. so i got alot mixed reviews here, i want to stick it on autotrader, id like a solid fair price quote from what ive told you so far. assuing the motor unlocks and is fine (im sure it will be)

Good luck man! If you have any doubts through the un-locking procedure, come back and check here. Better be safe than sorry!

I have a 79 RX7 I bought off of someone with what I was told was a bad motor.
I was told the owner ran it with low oil level and It stopped dead on the road. the motor has about 150 K on it but it is a 79 motor, without the H on top so it is a rare 12a.

Before I yank out the motor and put in another one. Do you think it is worth trying to unlock.
I put a ratchtet and pipe in the front shaft and gave it the slightest turn maybe...its locked pretty tight.
