Anyone know how much I could get if I sold my 4 orginal wheels off my 79 Special edition 7? I wanna see how much I could get because the wheels I found for my car are like 600 for 4.Just curious

 

Someone was saleing a set on Craigs list the other day for $100.

They are Rare but not in High Demand.

they are like brand new i guess with some nice tires as well...so i bet you could get $200 for yours if you clean them up a bit and find the right buyer

 

Those are the Rotor Rims. Not the same as what he has.

 

ooooh...my bad...what rims came on SE's??? I was under the impression that they came with the rotor rims...but those must have been on the LE's?

My original Limited didn't have the original wheels, so I am looking forward to puting these on my new 79 - just wish it was a real Limited!

 

Karlm,where did you buy those at?I might be selling my Wheels soon and wanted to know how much they go for.

 

Portland, Oregon - However, the guy didn't know what they were, and I would highly reccomend you keep your wheels. You might decide you like having a Limited, and want them back some day.

The SE's did not have the rotor wheels. They were special in some way, Cant remember what though.

 

Japan and Europe only. AFAIK, They weren't offered in the US.
