Pretty nice looking 1st gens on Autotrader!

I occasionally look through autotrader.com to see what kind of 1st gens are out there.. There currently seems to be quite a few listed in really, really nice shape!! Take a look at this one:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...r=&cardist=365

32K original miles

Or this one (at a dealership, but has teal color w/gray interior):

Also seems like private sale prices are up there, too. Maybe that bodes well?

The 1st Gens are classics, won't be surprised to see prices above the $4K range as an average.
The 1st gens in Japan are over $10K for a nice one.
That's why I'll never sell mine.

I figure the price turnup occurs around 25 years, and I notice the 79-80 models are starting to cost. So I'm looking for a low mileage SA22 in good condition to add to my stable of FBs (and the REPU).

They are a classic, and pretty soon all the 50 year old guys with bucks are gonna want the car they loved in their 20s but couldn't afford. I'm the same way: I couldn't afford a Porsche speedster in '55, but now I can at least afford a good replica; and I'll get one when I finish some other business. Maybe even a RS50 replica.
