Pressure build up in engine

Okay all you rotary guru's

So I've had my FB for a few days and have been checking adjusting and playing with it .
Today when I got home after a test run, I pulled the dip stick about 10 minutes after I shut it off. WELL THAR SHE BLOWS, right smack between the eyes. It was like pulling the top of a champagne bottle, Oil and a small amount of white sh*t blows out under a huge amount of pressure.

Am I needing a crankcase breather on this thing, or is something gone kaput????????

Dazed and confused

Smoke from the exhaust, lots of it? If so, what color. It's possible you only need to vent the crankcase. Did the oil look normal or like a chocolate milkshake? What mods have been done, i.e., rat's nest removal.

It's a silly question but how much oil is in it? When you did your last oil change, how much did you use?

pressure

Oil level is on the money Oil looks clean with just a tiny bit of white crap in the oil filer tube. No smoke from exhaust to speak of.....
It has a Weber 45 DOCE with free flow exhaust. all emission / rats nest removed fuel pressure regulator / pressure gauge. and some other small stuff.
I just disconnected the hose on the oil filler tube, I will plug one outlet and put a filter on the other this should help.

you need to set up a pcv from the oil fill tube to the lower manifold, if you search about "lung butter" you should find some solutions, I had the white cr@p in my fill tube but never got pressure, put an air cleaner on one of the lines to the oil fill tube, and a line to a pcv valve, and then "T" to both primary intake runners from the other hookup right next to the fill tube, solved my lung butter

Thanks I'll check that out
I just put a small crankcase breather on and blocked one outlet on the filler tube for now.

Doesn't the purge valve kind of act like a PCV valve?

Is he saying his car pissed on him(I could have been nastier) lmao
just joking!!!!!
do the vent thing, go for a long ride in the country
to make the moisture evaporate out of the crankcase
while you at it **** of a few vettes/stangs/vipers 350z's are just to easy

it does when functioning properly, and with a rats nest, and carb thats setup for it like the stock nikki, with no rats nest and a doce carb, it has nothing to hook up to,

what you could try for now is drilling a hole in the oil fill tube cap(when not on the oil fill tube), then putting in a fitting and a breather off the top, with your other breather and cap still in place, this would let physics take care of the issue.

I had my stock purge valve hooked up after de-emissioning and was still getting the lung butter, and actually quite a lot of it. The valve is old and probably gunked right up. Go to Canadian Tire and get a PCV valve from a early 90's 3.0L Dodge Caravan/Plymouth Voyager. Run a hose from the oil vent tube to the PCV,(make sure the arrow on the PCV is pointing away from the vent tube), then run a line to the large nipple on the firewall side of the intake manifold. I believe you'll have to strip the rest of your emissions, which is pretty easy once you find the parts you'll need. You can find that tutorial at www.mazspeed.com. Once I switched to the PCV valve I had no more lung butter issues. It's kind of nice, except now I need a new filler tube because the inside of mine has quite a bit of rust in it.

I'm curious, is this only a problem for 12a's, or do SE's have this problem too?

Thanks on the list of things to do....they have salted the roads here in NH so it's getting pickled for some winter tinkering.
