Power windows

Well I just started to put together my 85' gsl that I just acquired. All the interior is in pieces so I get to put a puzzle together for this is my first FB. I go to roll down the power windows and they both go down but by the front of the window the glass sticks up about an inch and it does it on both sides. It doesn't make any sense but are the windows suppose to stick outside the door as most cars do not. It's a stupid question but I need to know if I have to mess with some power windows cause I hate doing it. Also when I turn my key on there is a buzz that does not stop, I'm guessing it is the low oil level cause it does have a nice size oil leak and the coolant is full so I don't think it is that. What other buzzers do these cars have.

Thanks, Tony

the window thing is normal, my car does that so im guessing its normal and the buzzer may be going off if your door is not shut completely it will buzz while the key is in the ignition.

yeah my pass door wasn't closed all the way. Now I just have to get the behive leak fixed. And what is on the passenger side of the engine that can leak oil? Could it be the oil injectors or the lines?

could be the OMP, could be any of the gaskets between the rotor housings and intermediate housing, could be the front cover gasket, LOTS of things... sorry this wasn't any help

I figured it could be any of those but I still get a nice 60-65 psi when under throttle.

All FB's that I've seen have the windows stick up about 3/4 to 1 inch. It's a normal thing. Don't ask me why Mazda couldn't put them all the way in the door. Maybe they're too tall or something. Or maybe they wanted to defy the world even more and make them stick up. As if a pistonless engine wasn't enough. But the engine sure is bad ***.

on my old 85 gsl i adjusted them so they would sit lower. i have no idea how i did it though, i can't remember.

i think i just adjusted the screws that run through the glass, if im not mistaken, they allow the window to move up and down, when loosened
