It is but it's not for the faint of heart. You would need the entire steering shaft, box, bracket and pump. In the end of the day, you still have RX-7 wonky steering. I know it's not cheap, but if you want better steering, get this kit. A forum member, @MTheoryInc, makes them. https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-gene...n-kit-1156017/

Thanks, Years ago I bought a new 1985 GSL-SE with power steering, sold it when we moved to Florida. Missed it so I found a really nice low mileage 1983 GSL, no power steering. I couldn't get used to it so I sold that one too.
Fast forward about 30 years to last December when I bought a 1984 SE that had sat for 15 years and needs a lot of attention. Not a big investment at $1500.00. But I would like to companion it with a 12A GS or GSL but I would have to equip it with power steering.

It's expensive, but EZ Power Steering in the Netherlands makes conversions for classic cars.
I've never used one, just read about it in Octane magazine.
