i recently changed my GSL SE to manual steering from ps due to needed rebuild. Since then, I just had spinal surgery and having manual steering might prevent me from driving the car so I might need to change it back.

I kept all the parts and th gear box can be rebuilt, but the pump can’t. Previous owner welded the pulley to the shaft.

So, my questions are...

how hard/expensive is it to get a replacement pump?

are there pump alternatives? Aftermarket?

At at this point just doing information gathering so I know why I am in for should I need to change the car back to power steering.
