yea, i want the high performance one maybe. i sent them an email and they responded very quickly. the guy that wrote to me said they have never tested these units on rotaries but he personally used his neighbors subaru sti as a test subject. says it's full out modded and that his main goal was to not hear it in the mornings! hahaha, he says it just sounds friggin awesome. not loud at all.

The turbocharger makes a good muffler already. A good test would be a large port NA rotary.

Reading the description of how it works, I can tell you that either they don't understand how their muffler works, they don't actually want to tell the public how it works, or it doesn't work and they are making up stories. I've got my masters degree in air flows and their description is jibberish.

I totally agree. The only place I've seen more of this type of inane use of buzz words is on late night infomercials. I used to work at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft. I know jet engines. I could go on for paragraphs about how this design has nothing to do with jet engines or jet engine technology, but suffice it to say that puple82 is right -- the description is senseless.

I also don't believe the HP claims. If they were true, every OEM on the planet would be beating down their doors and every race car in the world would have one. I suppose those idiots in Formula 1 (the most highly technical and well-financed race series) haven't caught on yet . . .

Like the old saying goes, "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is."

Now, it may be an OK muffler (it may even be a great muffler), but no muffler has yet been shown to increase HP, and they're sure coming off like snake oil salesmen.

I don't think F1 cars use mufflers. Why do you think they are so loud?

As for LMAO, it means Laugh My *** Off. Just a short way of saying it.

Yeah what's the deal? I'm looking to start a new project and this might fit the bill if it lives up to it's claims. I'm not even worried about a hp. gain, just that it muffles good without a real significant restriction.

I'm not sure about the technology, but they are masters of the graph:

A 2% difference in horsepower equals 50% bar length. Nice!<P>
They are claiming anywhere between 20 and 50% fuel mileage improvement, which reeks of bullshit to me.
