it possible to remove air but keep a/c

hi
is it possible to remove the air pump and still keep the air conditioning?

the air pump has nothing to do with the a/c.

but what the but what about the pulleys , i thought i had to add a double pulley to the alternator?

Yeah, or have cavitation of the water pump at high revs... Seemed like when I had mine like that I was replacing belts a lot more frequently too

Having no air pump belt is nice.... you break alternator belts a lot until you finally get rid of the engine-driven fan and go to an electric fan

i have been thinking about going to a electric fan anyway. maybe thats what i'll do then
