possible OMP hook-up?

I have this manifold, with 2 little bungs (I guess you call it that?) on the runners. The OMP hose fits on it with a little elbow grease. Thing is, it is closed up with welding. I can drill it out, but I was wondering on you guy's thoughts on it. Would this work and not "dry out" my rotors, for lack of better words?

also, in the 2ndpic, there are 2 bolts, that look to be connected to nothing or holding in nothing. Any Ideas?

Which carb are you running? The MOP lines usually connect to barbs tapped into the 2 barrel carbs.

The left "bung" should be for the vacuum line going to your brake booster. I think you will need to tee the omp lines together and run them into the carb somehow. The stock carb, and the RB Holley runs the oil into the gas before it enters the intake. Is premixing something that you don't won't to do?

Premixing on a dd seems to be tiresome. yes, i would do that, but as a last resort

would it work to tee them together and run them into the float chamber?

If it's a place that the fuel collects before entering the intake, I don't see why not. The RB prepped Holleys are done that way. The omp lines are teed together then dumped into the front float bowl. Seems doable. You will still need the vacuum source for your brake booster.

I am thinking, if I redrill the hole on the manifold, that would be vacuum seeing how it sucks the air/fuel. Now, that would not mess up the BB, would it? Or maybe I am just thinking too hard on it lol.

The Mikunis have MOP ports tapped right behind the throttle plates, angling out at 5 and 7 o'clock front the throats. That would be your best bet. Is this that 'other' OER carb and not prepped by Robert?

Yep, not prepped by robert. Mind my ignorance, but who is Robert? Would/could he prep/rejet my carb?

and this is what you are talking about, I assume?

Robert owns Rotary Shack, sells, jets preps OER carbs. As for the MOP barbs, switch them from side to side. They should be on the outer edge instead of the inner.
