Porting question involving 2 barrel Carb

Hey guys,

I have a weber 48 IDA and I'll be street porting my engine next week. My question is I should do the exact same ports on the primary and secondary ports because i only have a 2 barrel carb right? I was thinking mild on the primary and larger on the secondaries, but will only having 2 barrels to feed it cause tuning problems?

Thanks, Matt

i think getting rid of the 4bbl carby eliminated the "primary" and "secondary" options... if both barrels of your weber do the same thing at the same time (which think they should) then the port size should be the same for all.

I assume you are speaking of porting the irons, makes no difference. Port the irons for the power and driveability you want and port match the intake and irons.
