I just read their prices and maybe i will do it myself. I've read the faqs on mazdatrix and they helped is there anything else I should know?

Also does anybody know any good Rotary Mechanics/People that might be able to port the engine for me.

 

What type of port? Racing Beat sells port templates that you have to cut yourself just to be sure you can handle the job. If you can't cut them right, then i wouldn't suggest doing it yourself. (the port job)
