Port Air Valve on the ACV Question
Its too short to go to the air filter. Is it suppose to "T" into the hose that routes to the cat? (Also in the pic) Can't find any help in the archives or in the service manual. Setting up to go to emissions on monday....
You only have half of the hose and I'm not sure it's half of the stock hose. Is the car running like this? If so the other end must be plugged at the intake manifold or you'd have a major vacuum leak.

That makes quite a bit of sense. There is only one cat in the car. This one already has a hose running to it.
The car runs fine with out it connected.
Also I could not find any markings for the CA or Federal emissions. The car is in CA.

in the parts fische they list an early and late (basically) it also varies with mt vs at and CA and fed, although the differences at this point probably dont matter.
early will have that extra tube, late does not.
i think i might OWN one, but i have no idea how it works
if you put the later valve in there without the hose, nobody will notice
