TX Polished Turd.. (SB related) {PICS}

This weekend I cleaned the engine bay, it certainly need it, it'll need a few cleanings in fact. I spent a good hour wrapping all the electrical connectors and other electrical bits prior to spray everything down with Simple Green. After soaking I washed and scrubbed the engine the best I could. It came out nice, but it'll take some subsequent cleanings to get it perfect, and that is the goal. I also spent some time washing the car and even threw a coat of wax on it. It's driving really nice even after the washing, luckily no gremlins have appeared after washing. I haven't cleaned/detailed the interior yet, that's coming up tomorrow or next weekend.

Engine bay:

Exterior after a quick wash and wax.

Interior (not cleaned yet):

Very nicely done, you make us all proud, I too have a GSL turd that someday will be a DD. I actually like the color. My leather seats make better beef jerky than a place to park my butt, they are that dried out.

This particular brown has really grown on me, together with the brown leather interior I really dig it. I don't really like the darker brown that Mazda used. But the T9 is all right by me!

Why are you separated from your SE? If you referring to my vehicle inventory then yes it is extensive but quite boring. I'm an OEM/Stock only person, so you can only do so much with the "StockProjektz" mentality because the cars do look and appear to be 100% as the factory intended. I do however believe in suspension work, it's a must, especially on the RX7, I can't wait to make this the best handling car I can. I wonder if TEIN makes suspension for a 1st Gen.
