points to electronic dizzy

ok. i can't seem to find what i'm lookin for. so has anybody done the switch? i'm sure i can find out with a little reading. shouldn't be hard. but i would like first hand knowledge on it. 79 dizzy to another one. what needs to be done.

You can also use the points to trigger electronic ignition modules. Since the points will be acting as low-power switches (instead of high current breakers) they will last practically forever. Can look stock, too.

hey. thanks for the info. good stuff. i'm picking up a 79 this week and was told it will only run for about 7 miles then die. so i'm getiing info just in case. i'm sure i can get it runnin good in no time at all, just using info just in case the dizzy is screwed. got plenty of parts.

If "it'll run for 7 miles then die" it's probably a fuel issue.
