Well my car has been painted for a long time now, and I just finally got the pics on the internet. Painted it in my homemade painting booth and only cost $28 including paint and supplies. So I would say it came out great for the money.

I saw a clown wagon at a circus exactly like that, except it had streamers.

 

I think the angled stripe looks better than the straight one. nice work, especially for 28 bucks.

A little color sanding (800~1200 grit,), and then a buffer, and it will look like it came outa the factory.

It is just regular old paint, I forget all the details now that it is done. But, they are pics right after it was painted. My brother buffed it out and it looks great now. I should snap a few more pics with the rims on it. It turned out really nice, and looks a lot better than it did before. Thanks for the compliment on the clown wagon! haha

 

well could you look up the details so the rest of us can save some money?

 

LoL. It is tractor implement. Straight enamel, no clear coat.

All I can say is you can't even say oh good job trying to do it yourself or something to that nature. Some people really don't have that much respect. I haven't even been on here for a while because I have been working with hondas a lot more. But I am done with what I want to do with mine, so now it is time for the standalone for the rx7 and I am starting to get back into this forum. Its nice to see a lot of welcome back. If you only paid $28 for all that and it ended up that good looking?! mad props, to each his own, paint it lime green for all i care! The paint job itself looks wonderfull and shiney. But you will probably have to wax that thing alot more than normal to keep the shine.

no no no. The wheels were on there just for the paint. LoL. I am really looking for GSL-SE wheels at the moment. Their are usually 17" Motegi MR7s, yea I know, ricer wheel, but they look decent on there. I am just trying to find some straight gsl-se wheels at the moment. Hondas are a whole other world. The are jus as easy as RX7s to work on, and I tune them, so I can't hate them. I make pretty good money doing it. I mean I have a standalone on my civic and its fully programable. Running 10lbs daily, for my commuter, and what is nice, If I blow it up, I can pick a motor up for $300. Can't beat that.

 

im still a fan of the stock mazda rims. When in perfect shape and shiney, even though they are 13 inch, they are sexy and give your car that pure 80's look. And They are really light, my buddy with a 12.7 1/4 mile camden supercharged, has the stocks rims still too.


Honda is a rx7 owners mortal enemy. I dont know how many of those damn ricers come up to me a day and try to race me, and i hop so far in front of them off the line they just back off.

DOWN WITH THE BOINGERS. I told my family if they ever see me buy a piston powered car to shoot me and put me to sleep then and there.
