Plug Wires

I was recently looking in the engine bay of one of my GSL-SE's(I have 2) and upon close inspection 2 plug wires have been chewed up by the A/C compressor pulley. all the way through...the wierd thing is i have never noticed any problems, even under racing conditions. since this one(i call it Grey Ghost) is not my daily driver yet, i want to buy some new plug wires. I checked around and Advance and O'Reilly have lots of choices for this car....i have looked at the sites and i see that they both sell the Accel line but are completely different part numbers. Advance has them as "Custon fit 8.8mm, Spark Plug Wire Set, Spiral Core" with part number 8886 while O'Reilly list several as "Accel 300 Plus Thunder Sport Wires" with part numbers: 7930B, 7930R, and 7930Y. While oreilly only has one price for the Accel wires which is for part number 7930B. the others dont have a price. What is the better, Advance or O'reilly's wires? What does oreilly's part numbers mean? as always your help is much greatly appreciated

Those at Advance are Accel's standard performance plug wire. Those at O'Rielly are Accel's race wire. The part #'s mean......drum roll please........you can get them in three colors. Blue! Red! and Yellow!!! By the way Accels standard wire are also yellow.

I just sold a Member here a set of the Accel 300+ Thundersport Plug Wires.
Part number 7930R 8mm w/400 miles on them.
I replaced them with the MSD wires and to be Honest with you I liked the Accel wires better.
And yes the Letters just mean color of wires.

But once I redo it,I want to run the MSD 8.8

You want me to make a video of what? how it runs with the Accel's on, and with the Stock NGK's?

I think before you go spending all that money on MSD's you should talk to sgieldon about his.

Nothing, In fact those are what I wanted to begin with, but then after I started searching, and talking to people about what they run and like. They would all tell me they couldnt tell the difference between the accel's and the MSD's.

Sgieldon included, That is why he is selling me his Accel's he got the new MSD's, but he said he couldnt tell a lick of difference between them, If he had to do it over again, he would have just stayed with the Accel's. Thats just what he told me. Ask him for yourself.
