please help, sorta dumb

ok so this is a sorta dumb question but how do you make a custom avatar like i have albums or picutres of my car but i cant figure out how to make one into an avatar that looks half way decent, thanks

Mines simply done in MSPaint... Lol. It's been with me for YEARS. I'll probly never change it. If you have photo-shop, get a pic and start editing for size first, then overlays, etc... I'm no good at that, sorry.

I finally figured out how to the other day thanks to fcdrifter13. Haven't had one since I joined. Post the pic you want in the test section, right click on the thumbnail and 'save picture as', that will resize it for the avatar limit.
