I would say 4k to 4.5k for someone looking for a driver.

Me I would not go but about 3k on it. But I really dislike the 84-85 style.

I may have missed it in one of your threads, But what did you use for a fuse setup on the shock tower. Seen in the last pic of the first post.

I replaced the fusible links with a fuse block out of a 2nd gen. Works pretty well, and if you ever blow out a link you just go get a new one and plug it in.

EDIT: I think you are referring to the gold box on the strut tower right by the battery. That is the fuse for my electric fan setup. I've got the e-fan running off of a thermostat relay switch so it comes on and off on its own. That is just a 30 amp fuse to protect the setup. I did replace the fusible links with a 2nd gen fuse block but you can't see it in any of my pictures...

i would say if you find the right person to buy it it should go for around 4200-4700 area. But you have to find the right person that would be looking for axactly that thing. If I needed another GS I would probably give you about 4K for it.

Thanks guys I appreciate the appraisals. Anyone else have any input on what you think it is worth? I'm interested to hear every one's opinions in case I decide to sell it outright....

I will be curious as to what your selling experience will be. I have one prepped a little different and in similar condition that I tried selling a month ago with no luck - had a few very casual inquiries, but no real interest. I have since decided to store it as I have too many cars (actually not enough parking space) and other projects that require my attention.

What is is worth and what you can sell it for or two different things. I too am in the same boat. I have over 4k in my gsl-se but not sure I could get 4k out of it.
I mean for 2-4k someone can get a FC TII so why would they want a FB?
I say keep it, and come down to my house and help me paint my SE the same as your gs.

If you do sell it keep us posted on where it goes.

You can not expect a car like this to sale in two weeks. I would say that 6 months to one year could be the expected time required to sale one like this.

hell I have taken 6 months to sale 1k cars.

There are people who will pay for a car like this, Ask Ray Green, He drives his like 60 miles one way to work each day, He buys low miles nice cars and pays well for them. I buy 200 crap to part and 600 crap to do donuts in.

the target audence here is 16yr old that dont want a honda and 30ish that have 3 kids and a mortgage, we cant and dont pay what a car like this is worth. but we can put $200 every 6 months into our 1k car to keep it running and improve it some.

Around here an FB with a very similar setup sold for 5500. But that's around here, where the rotary crop is unusually dry these last few years (we did see an surge in the amount available at around this time last year, but just as fast, they were all gone.)
