are the pineapple sleeves for the 5th&6th ports worth it??

Currently cleaning and restoring the intake on my SE...got the 5th and 6th port sleeves out today, figured if I got em out might as well upgrade em...I've heard mixed reviews on the pineapple sleeves....basically it seems like "they help" but only by a small margin, but enough in the "every little bit helps" scheme of things....are they worth the $50 though?

Right on.

I personally hate 6 port engines..I would rather stay with a 12A or if you wanted to make a 13B 4 port/ n/a I would use 12A plates..and 13B GSLSE rotor housings..

I was going to do that set up long ago ..

I love 4 ports

A friend of mine, in rpnw had a working 6 port system, then installed the Pineapples. He said they where very noticable.

Not trying to get on a soap box here, but.....having made nearly 170rwhp on mustang dyno (Reads %10 less than a dyno Jet.) I receive about 2-3 e-mails a week or so asking how I make so much hp. I personally beleive that its due to Rob at Pineapple and what I have learned from him. If you where to ever meet Rob, you'll notice he is extremely detail oreinted(sp?) If you want your car to make the most power it can, pay attention to the smallest details, as well as the overall big picture. I beleive that the Pineapple sleeves are a worthy purchase. Ok...I'm gettind off the soap box now. CJ
