Pilot bearing seal

Just a quick double check. The pilot bearing seal goes in after you install a new pilot bearing correct? In other words, first you install the bearing, then the seal. Not the way it is in the car now.......right??

I'm doing an auto swap, pulled the flywheel off of my spare engine. Looked, saw pilot bearing, no seal. Thought.....weasel, are you drunk? No, no seal there....pulled the bearing, there it was. Just thought i was stupid or something...
