Pilot bearing
Pilot bearing
got the clutch off and it seemed all right but the flywheel needed resurfacing so i got that of and realised that the pilot bearing was completely shot. It completely scored the transmission shaft. What can i do?

Yeah and they are pretty easy to come by, I had 3 of them here in the last year, they all are sold now, but I didnt get more than $75 / ea for them, so they are inexpensive
Sometimes the "scoring" is not as bad as you think. unless it is REALLY deep and chewed up, try smoothing it out with emery cloth. Remember that the pilot bearing is only there to keep the shaft centered. Many cars in the past have used only a brass bushing instead of a bearing. The only time the bearing is being used is when the engine and transmission are "disconected". After your shifting is done (like on the highway), the trans shaft is not spinning inside the bearing. I have seen many of these and after replacing the bearing and cleaning up the shaft, there were no more problems. I do use a synthetic grease to lube it.

MAybe, maybe a machine shop can fix it, but a used tranny is prolly cheaper.
