Dunno if this is kinda what you are looking for, but this is supposed to be a direct piece.

Besides that I believe people have manipulated FC ones with a heat gun in order to get them to fit.

I have one of those (84-85 full pillar). Fit was very good. Minor reshaping needed at the bottom. Nothing a hairdryer and some patience couldnt fix. Buy the correct one for the 1st gen. We had to get 50 paid orders for them to make them for us. You have to support people who make specialty items for our old cars.

here is a Lotek installed in my car. Replaces the whole piece, not just a add on. I'm very happy with it.

Cool One piece dual gauge pod

Here's mine, got 2 from a member that custom modified them from another model vehicle. Fits perfect.

I ordered 2. If I remember right I sent them the a piller to make a mold from. I cut the whole piller out of a parts car and mailed it to them.

Well mine arrived yesterday and I did a test fit today. Well, on the 79sa it is way off and I ordered the 79-83. And on the other it will need a little bit of me helping it to fit.

Heat gun should take care of that problem. I had to do just a slight bit of trimming and heating to get the 2nd gen one to fit the FB.
