The black thing on the manifold, is that like a catch plate looking thing? The only thing i remember going on there were the dizzy lines for vaccuum advance after the rats nest removal... other than that, it would be all rats nest lines entering the black plate. check around there first.

And I thought the water temp sender was on the base of the radiator. I still have my water temp gauge. I am fairly certain that the oil pressure gauge is what I think it is. I think... right below the oil filter pedestal?

Temp sender for oil is there just before the pressure sensor.

Kinda looks like one doesn't it?
No, it's a long wire that comes off of the main wiring harness.

first pic looks like the wire that goes to the temp sensor in the block under the sensor for oil pressure. i think it's actually yellow? but it's discolored. that sensor in the top of the rad that was mentioned previously is the coolant sensor. second pic is probably one of those vac hoses that will be eliminated once u remove the rats nest. it might connect to the bottom of the air cleaner.

It's a 13b. I don't know that I necessarily want to do a rats nest removal.

Now for the wires. The pressure sensor I'm pretty sure is the white plastic tab below the oil filter pedestal. The brown wire maybe oil temp?

Lets get a few things straight.........

1.Oil pressure sender for the gauge is the big pot below the oil filter. You have it correct in the first pic......
2.Water temp sender for the gauge is the little sparkplug looking thing just ahead of,and below the oil filter.....
3.Oil temp sensor is in the oilpan, and is only to tell the subzero start assist when to work....hence,its useless.....
4.Low oil level sensor is also in the pan, right ahead of the oil temp sensor.Activates the idiot light on the dash....
5.Low coolant sensor is on the top center of the radiator, activates the idiot light on the dash.....
6.Coolant sensor for the ECU/smog system is located on the bottom tank of the radiator.....
