You need to know the secret handshake!

Actually, the images are blocked if you have less than a certain number of posts. Maybe 15? I don't know. Once you have a couple most posts under your belt, you should be able to see all of the cool pics.

Camber plates with no caster. They actually removed the control arms and shimmed the bushing in order to move the arm a little more forward.
Ever notice that the tension rods are, like, THREADED? When I did the poly pushings in my "298" car, I moved the nuts to give me another degree or so of caster. Wheels sit more forward in the wheelwells but hell, that's what baseball bats are for. Plus it makes the wheelbase a little longer and shifts weight aft ever-so-slightly.

Stock tall radiator with an oil cooler in front - which surprised me.
Remember, the "tall" radiator did not exist until MY1983! At least, not that I am aware of. Possible later running change?

edit: j9fd3s is probly right, RX-4 unit

Is the oil cooler vertical or horizontal?

Rear end has an unequal length panhard bar.
'Tis a Watts.

$700! Was that cost or list?

I believe they normally retail for $1800ish... apiece.

MFR PP housings are still "mandatory" for several race classes... they need to be MFR not aftermarket like RB or custom one-off. Which is okay since they're supposed to be better than any of the aftermarket housings anyway. Just a *lot* more expensive.

Sorry, I had a tough week at work so I wasn't able to get by there. I'll try again this week. I'm also going to talk to the owner while I'm there. Hopefully, it'll be a price I can afford.

That's an awesome find for rx7 history. That car should never see the street or track again. Its too valuable IMO.

Sacrilege! If he's not gonna drive it, he should let somebody else have it. Cars are meant to be driven and racecars are meant to be raced -- in vintage events and track days, of course. If it's just gonna sit, why not just buy a poster of it -- a lot cheaper & just as useful.

Don't worry, if I get my hands on it, it'll be at all the NASA and other track events I go to. No reason why it doesn't see any HPDE4 or TT action.

does the car run? its been sitting for a while so i it would be risky wouldnt it? ok so everyone would just say rebuild it, but didnt that motor have some mazda racing engineers to rebuild it for optimum performace? or was it just a oem motor and build the hell out of the things around it like the manifold and carb stuff. just something i thought of.
