hi guys i got aa pair of mx6 bucket seats today.. for only 500 australia dollars.. very good condition.. comes with the rails.. and he threw in the mx6 door trims although i dunno wat i can do with that..

im just wondering if we can start a collection of non stock seats that have been put on the first gen..

that would be very intersting..

i tried searching but there were no previous threads that have a collection of non-stock factory or aftermarket seats on the 1st gen pictures..

i saw sum on the 2nd and 3rd gen forums though..

oh and let me add i will be putting sum pics of it on this thread once its bolted in.... which will be next week after my damn exams.. ARGHH!

 

you can make pretty much any seat fit into it as long as the dimensions aren't totally off. You'd have to fabricate an adaptor rail to use the stock holes, or just do it the redneck way and drill new holes

 

I was going to put some mid 80's 626 seats in my old se but the seat bottoms are too wide to fit between the tunnel and door panel. maybe your mx6's have smaller bottoms than the US models do

damn i just took off all the seat cover crap and to my surprise .. my original factory s3 rx7 seats aare soo beautiful!!

ill take pics of them tonight and ill show u guy sthe pics..

damn.. i dunno i regret buying the mx6 seats a little bit now.. but nah.. i hear they are soo comfortable

u know how i was tellin ya i took off the seats covers.. only to find out the two beautiful mint factort seats under them.. now im kind of regreting buying the mx6 seats.. but nah it should be ok...

 

oh and yeh.. i still need to respray the car and half way done on getting all the 5speed parts.. so just ignore the auto in there atm
