pics of my car and some questions

i have have had the alternator relocation bracket from pineapple racing for awhile and decided to install it. while moving around i have a question. how did you guys extend the reach of the thick wire that bolts to the stud of the alternator? when i fit the alternator down, there was some play on the bracket. i am using the donut from the s4 alternator. is that normal or do i need a bigger piece for it. when i fitted the belt onto the alt in position, it barely cleared the dizzy at 1 point. is that normal? in a hard drive would itexpand and hit the dizzy?

(i dont have pics of the alt being on the bracket)

as fo rextending the wire, just clip it and solder in a longer piece and solder on your old connector and the old piece of wire that came with it.

Cut the wire loom open and separate the alternator wire from the igniter wires. Do this first before you start extending the wire

i looked at you car domain and your alt bracket looks different than mine. i have just put this on my car with an FD alt. i dont have a belt going to it or have it wired up yet. i have to figure out whire wires go to which. i found out the loop on the end of the ground wire is too small but i plan on clipping it apart then tightening it on.
