Hey V8Kilr (since youve done the swap), or anyone else that knows...

Are the strut housings the same for the -SE's and the non -SE's? Ive heard that most of the stuff that fits one will fit the other (shocks, springs, etc), so I was just wondering. I found an -SE I might be able to get the suspension from if I ever get some money

might be different if your putting the stuff on a 1979

In Oz at least, the S3 suspension stuff will fit straight onto a S1, good way to get bigger brakes and the infinitely better stud pattern. I can't imagine you would have a problem.

you will have no problem... the rears are interchangable throughout all of the first gens... with the fronts, the sa's have shorter strut housings...

Ok, so just to clarify, the strut housings for an 83 and 84-85 -SE are the same then?

and nobody steps on my msd's but then I do warn them when it's their first time in my rocket. There is still plenty of leg room.

OOOOHHHH I had my car dyno'd 147rwhp
that was my seccond of two runs, the first was 10hp less I gained 10hp from richening the mixture, I was way too lean. maybee more dyno sessions and I will break 150hp on a stock port motor!!
