I've been shot and lived. I hardly call that a testimonial that a bullet in the torso is never fatal.

He hasn't experienced a problem yet, and I hope he never does, but it's hugely increasing your odds of metal fatigue on a moving part for very, very little gain (in this case the 'look' of a certain wheel shape over another)

Even without catastrophic failure, there are suspension geometry, unsprung weight, and insurability issues

If you can get away with it through your insurance co., can live with a 3 pound increase per wheel in unsprung weight, and are satisfied that the benefits (look) outweigh the negatives (potential for catastrophic failure), then have at 'er. And if they DO work well for you, more power to you.

AS I said, I wish you all the best. Sincerely. And it's possible the technology has changed and they are fail-safe now... but with all due respect I'd rather not use them and be wrong, than see a bunch of you guys use them and be proven right by unfortunate circumstances.

You will have no problems, and i cant see the reason of any side effects using them. If i didnt havea GSL-SE, i would probably get some.

By the way, what did you do to the suspension to get that kind of stance?

Nice choice of coil position . Im gonna put my MSD box where yours is too, but Im still saving up for it. So for now, I am only using two of the coils. Also, before anyone calls me dumb for buying three when I can only use two, I only bought two. One was given to me by a guy at Schucks that heard I was using them and he had one he didnt need anymore.

That's ALOT of ignition there! And it is a regular place for them to be mounted in many road-race vehicles. Hopefully you wont have a passenger in there who decides to use them as a footrest, or accidentally kicks it under hard braking. Nice intake horns.

i wouldnt call it dumb,
I bought two coils way back when I bought my first rex, then another when I did the msd setup,

turns out the new coils are smaller then the old ones,

so I had to buy two more new ones.

so I bought 5 when I could have bought threee in the first place.
