Pics of my 79 sa

Here are a few pics of my rx7 with a 12a stage 2 streetported engine from rotorsports racing, with streetport RB intake with 465 cfm holley and streetport RB hiperf exhaust, and light wieght steel flywheel and street/strip clutch. i upgraded to stainless oil lines and got a new 3core radatior, put in a new water temp thats inline with the radiator top hose made it my slef, and also put on a oil pressure gauge. ive got my seat redone and new carpet but took the front carpet out while im working on it and i got a new dash pad to put on later, i built my own center console to hold a alpine cd player and 3 guages, well here are some pics of it all. hope you like it, still got body work to do and repaint it all one color but if it runs i dont care what i looks like for now. robert

What do you know about your flywheel and counter balance. I need help before I have to take the engine hoist back tomorrow before work. And I'm running out of daylight. I'm temped to swap flywheels and just put it back in there.

yeah once i get all the bugs worked out im going to upgrade the suspension completely this winter and im going to finish the inside out, i got plans to build a cage and also take out the storage bins and i got a audio guy going to build me a fiberglass bos to hold some spreakers nothing huge two 6x9 and two 8's, hes going to build it to match the old look for the most part. hes going to do it in trade since im building him a custom brushguard for his surburban. once all that is done, ill finish the out side. probably with a airdam and maybe a small one or 3 piece wing not sure on that yet. but the last thing im going to do is paint it this spring or summer.

Cage, suspension and speakers?!?!? Did you hit your head on something? Is this a track car or a pimp mobile? Mixing the two just doesn't work.

its will work trust me, ive been planning this car for years. and i anit a pimp im country through and through LOL just like fast cars and working withem but also like being comforatable. im plan to autocross it for the most part but i want it to be a nice looking and fully functional car to, one thats fun fast and comfortable. i see nothing wrong with putting a couple speakers in it, and i think a functional cage would be nice. i enjoy making cages and brushgaurds so i think it will work nice. its not going to be a huge monstrosity or anything jsut a hoop behind the seats with a cool thingy i got planned for the front area and then two supports coming in to the rear hatch and also have a rear brace build in to stiffen up a bit or atleast keep it that way. but the suspension is about shot as is so why not go all out with it right, a project car is never finished and is a money pit anyways.

That'll be a sweet SA. It's really coming together, nicely. Keep us updated. I'm looking forward to seeing the roll bar fabrication in there.
