I hafta say, that's an excellent choice of steering wheel... (I've got one too)!

All up though, it's a very good looking dash. Mine is cracked really bad and needs a lot of attention. I can only hope to have mine looking that good in time.

Thanks! I always wanted the Millenium wheel, but when I saw it on your car - I knew it would work fine. It's amazing what just a steering wheel makes for the feeling when you drive it. I am still waiting for the arrival of my Momo shift ****.

By the way, don't they make ABS Plastic covers for your dash? I know they do in the states (Left hand Drive) that you just slip on over the top like a second skin. I've seen a few and could not tell the difference at all.

Nope, never seen anything matching that description. I can get the carpet dash mats, but they suck IMO. I've gotten a quote for getting the dash reskinned better than the factory finish, but it'll have to wait awhile (not cheap). Or I'll try to find a second hand one in good nick.

Anyway... Is that a Turbo II tranny you're putting in?

Here is the one at Mazdatrix

But like I said, it's for LHD cars.

The engine is a 13BRE Cosmo Engine.

Would it be possible to put a Double DIN stereo in it or a DIN + EQ, and move the gauges down to where the ash tray is. (I don't smoke, and even if I did, it wouldn't be in the car...)

Ya say that's Mantis's stereo bracket in there? It looks like it flows together pretty well.

I need something to replace my broke stereo surround. Some theives broke it... But that'll all come way later.. like after I get the car going again and after I get a black dash.
