Pics of 82 GSL!
Just about completely done, this is my 15 year old sons car, Mylan. We've been working on it for a while. Everthing is stock on it. Tell us what you think of the car.

Has only 62,000 on it. New tires, struts, water pump, brakes, paint, carpet and interior parts, tint, speakers, vacuum hoses, belts, radiator hoses, tuned up and ignitors , wires, cap and rotor. I'm getting it ready for my 15 year old son.

lol. i know someone who bought his daughter a mustang... he specifically bought the 88hp one with the slush box just so she COULDNT go fast.
brilliant coup, i think. you get all the fun and enjoyment of fixing up a nice car for your kid, without the fear that he' wont be able to handle the power.
i wish my dad had bought me a car... he never once even let me borrow his escort station wagon.

It's like good twin (FB auto) and evil twin (Conquest tsi). That's great that they love their cars because it seems nowadays most teenagers are expecting their parents to buy them brand new cars or something. You kept it old school style and I like that. Nice, clean FB and so what if it's automatic, it's his first car right? Now lets see some pics of the Conquest!

My dad bought me my first car and it was a stick...
( a $100 1963 Chevy Belair straight 6 with a 3 on the tree..)
Nice projects for your kids..My 4 yr old just 'helped' me restore a 1946 Farmall tractor..It's good to be 'old school'.

Yeah, I learned about cars by lying under my dads mercury, holding the flashlight, while he fixed things. Learned enough to hotwire his car for some unauthorized morning excursions. But he was a step ahead of me and pulled the coil wire so it wouldn't start after I rolled it out of the garage and pushed it up the alley a way to make less noise when I started it. He sauntered up with the wire saying "you might need this".
I still admire that guy for his intelligence and goodwill.
