Performance Drum Pads?

Does anyone make them for a 79? I was looking for a Hawk HPS to match my fronts...

It looks like they only have pads for 7's. Unless they changed that part designation to AP for all there brakes. What are the chances the shoes from an RX-4 would fit on the backing plate of a 7?

scroll down a little further. The description will say RX7 Rear Drum/R or something. There are some for '79s. And the part # will be SHOE####

$130.00 for a set of rear. Since shoes only do about 30-35% of the braking?
For maybe alittle more you could get a GSL rear end complete and have a LSD to go with your 4 wheel disk brakes.

sub 200$ GSL rear end sounds shady :p

and i have heard that drum brakes are more effective as in stopping power than discs are, but the main difference is drums overheat way easily.

I've seen a couple sites selling those rewinds, and would consider getting a set, but I'm too partial to my Ronal's......
$500 for a set, including shipping, is good price. Most sites list them at $129 each, plus shipping.
Glad to see more wheels being made available for these "odd" cars.
