Passenger bin wiring...

So just please correct me if im wrong, all the wiring in the drivers side bin is for the old stereo right? Except for the line that comes into the interior for the fuel pump correct? I have a bronze box which i assume is the stereo and i see the clarion amp...

The cruise control computer is is also back there.... if you have cruise control. Plus a couple wires for the bin lights....

And of couse the main harness that goes back to the tail-lights which runs along the drivers side bulkhead...

ok I looked in another thread and apparently this box is the wiring coupler for the tail lights, and other rear end electrical... Can someone confirm this for me?

There is no "wiring coupler"... unless you mean the plug from the front harness to the rear harness...

The bronze box is the cruise.

The Claion amp is aluminum and says CLARION on it....

k, I wonder how hard it would be to mount the cruise control box to where the clarion amp was... Im thinking of doing some battery relocation soon, just have to justify buying a $180 dollar (CAD) sealed battery

Put the battery in the passenger side bin to help offset your weight.

You might need to drill a couple holes to move the CC box, but no big deal...

Are you talking about the new Candian Tire Spiral Cell?

I bought one, and it's AWSOME. You can crank on it all day!

Doesn't have quite as much kick as the wife's 1350CCA standard battery, but who cares? Holds up much better in the cold and lasts a LOT longer....

Ok, so that line that "comes into the interior for the fuel pump" actually is connected to the stock exhaust. I just cut the bitch off, but I was wondering if it is anything important...the car runs but I just want to know what it was that I cut.

Mount it vertical outside of the bin.

Then your passenger seat won't recline or slide all the way back... This requires modding of your passengers. I reccomend a die grinder, although a reciprocating saw works almost as well. Try and keep the cuts between the knee and ankle. Consider it weight reduction.

If the passenger becomes loud, it must be modified differently. Make the cut between the shoulder and the jaw. In some cases it can also be considered it an aesthetic modification.

I have the same problem. I was going to relocate my battery to the pass bin also. Then yesterday, after welding in the roll cage, I noticed it sits right where the battery was going to go.

Oh well. I don't need to relocate it until I get serious about some boost, so it goes back oem, for now.
