Arrow Parts needed for engine transplant

What are the not so obvious things that I should replace when putting in a new engine block on my 85 12A? So far, I've got gaskets, belts and radiator hoses.

How would one examine the exhaust cats? I've got the whole exhaust out of the car and by glancing at it, it looks pretty rusty. Maybe it's time to call Racing Beat, no?
