Parts
At the risk of blatantly showing my Noobness, here goes. I have an 85 GSL-SE that is really starting to show her age. In particular the years of hot sun and those big windows have caused the interior plastic trimming to deteriorate. Is there anyone that makes new or replacement pieces? I searched this forum but found no similar threads.

Another option some people have tried is some of these new kinds of paints for plastics. From what I've seen you have to be particular on the type as some come out really shiny looking. There have been a few threads over the years posted in this section on that.

Looking for the plastic trim in the back area along the rear hatch. Also the center console where the joystick and window switches are.
The car has the red interior. I'm looking to replace the carpeting as well and I think Victoria British has a good carpet set, does anyone have any experience with it?

I probably have most of what you need, including an average to good carpet set. PM me with a list.

Everyone seems to want black, which only came in the earlier 7s, and are getting hard to find. Most of my parts are maroon and brown from S3's. Sometimes it's easier to pickup parts in good condition, whatever color, then paint them. SEM Has a line of rattle can interior paint that is very good, found at most autobody paint stores. You can also get paint colors custom mixed with an interior additive.
The vinyl/plastic tops of the door panels are not hard to redo. The biggest problem is they are heat bonded to the fabric/plastic, under the fake chrome strip. When redoing the panels, the chrome strip is usually destroyed when seperating the vinyl from the fabric or plastic below it.
The enclosed pic is a neary finished door panel I am doing for a 300ZX that is getting a complete interior redo and color change. Pic doesn't show how bad the old tan panel looks, nor how nice the new gray one is. The lighter gray ring around the speaker cover is plastic and painted with Lesonal in a custom mixed color to go with the other 3 bluegrays.
